Now or Never
This story is about Now or Never which is located on Central Ave. This store caters more to a modern, high-end audience. If you are looking for something more boho-chic or a mix of both, click the button below to be navigated to other stories for two other stores!
I then went to Now or Never Boutique, which was literally right next to Bunky Boutique. This shop had a completely different vibe, everything was more modern and it felt like you had accidentally walked into an art exhibit. This boutique was way more of a high-end store, offering items like Comme Des Garcons and Maison Margiela. They also had a little vintage area where there were one-of-a-kind items sold. They sold men's and women’s clothing, shoes, perfumes, decor, etc. They also sold some coffee table books, but I don’t know there was something about them that really caught my eye, they were like the normal cliche coffee table books. I got a chance to talk to one of the workers there and he explained a little bit about the store to me. The owner of the store goes down to different shops and brings in the items to their store and after a while, he started to gain a relationship with these brands that he would sell in the store and they started to personally contact him to sell their items at Now or Never. The worker said that at the store you can find the items for either the same price that you normally would or even cheaper than the normal price. He also mentioned that everything that is in the store is current and up to date with the brand (besides the vintage section that they have), so you could go on the brand’s website and see something that you like and you could walk into the store and see the same thing.
Although I went to two stores that were right next to each other (Bunky Boutique is their neighbor), they offer two completely different vibes that can cater to two different types of people and you can read more about the other store here. They both had great workers that made the spacing inviting and comfortable. Now or Never has a website where you can buy things from there instead of going inside the stores. These stores were right in the heart of Downtown Phoenix and like I said previously it’s within walking distance from the dorms and the campus. It’s located near a bunch of restaurants, so after eating you can go around and shop a bit. There are also other shops around these two, so you can have plenty of fun shopping around for a bit and find different things (you’ll probably never run into the same thing twice). There was an art museum that was attached to both stores in the back, you just had to walk behind the building to access it. I think that the only downside to the experience was that there was barely any parking near them, so we had to go all the way around and find parking in a back lot and then walk up to the stores.
